Over the past few years our understanding of foreclosures has changed a lot. After the drastic economic change in our country since 2008 and the resulting decline in our economy, we see a lot of home foreclosures due to lost jobs or failure of the banks to cooperate with adjustments to current mortgages.
Our firm has begun to focus on foreclosure law in Georgia. Through our legal efforts, in some cases we have been able to STOP foreclosures before they occur. In other cases, we have had the foreclosures overturned by the courts, with the homeowners being able to save and retain ownership of their homes as a result. Every case is different and the success of each depends upon its unique facts.
We are available to review your case if you are facing the possibility of foreclosure. After a review of the facts in your case, we can tell you if you have a case with which our knowledge and experience can be of service. It is important that you understand that we do not handle cases that have no legal merit. If your purpose in engaging our services is only to harass your mortgage company through the act of obtaining legal counsel and/or simply to delay the foreclosure without any expectation of having any legal relief, we cannot help you.
If you feel that we can be of service in your situation or if you simply need a review of the facts of your case, please call our office and schedule an appointment. In most cases our consultation fee is minimal. If we can help, we will set a fee for you to retain our services. If we cannot help beyond the initial consultation, we will tell you so. In any case, we will need to review all of the paper work and all other documentation pertaining to your potential foreclosure.
We look forward to hearing from you.
